I have started to make hats recently, because it makes such a great photo prop for newborn boys. I have made several different designs and I am still working on designing more types of hats. I am only showing what I have so far and I would like to know which one is your favorite model and also which model would you like me to design??
I make all my hats with elastic in the back, most measure 35-38 cm and will give another few cms because of the elastic. Therefore these hats you may use for your newborn photos, but also for sitter photos. It will fit babies from newborn to roughly 1 1/2 – 2 years. Making this photo prop a good buy and very useful asset to your photo prop wardrobe. I can make matching trousers, suspenders, ties and wraps and backdrops with all the hats. This is a velvet hat in a vivid turquoise. Measures 34 cm. The fabric is soft and can be molded into a desired shape.
This is what is called a newspaper boy hat or if you prefer an Oliver Twist type hat. It is made from a more rigid material and keeps it shape very well. As you know I can custom make the hats so you could choose the decorations. This hat measures 37 cm.
This a playful hippy hat, with a very large ‘body’, the fabric is rigid but allows positioning very well. This hat is fun for boy and girl. I can be ordered with several changeable decorations so you can use it for newborn boys and girls.
This is a tiny sailor’s hat, made to fit on top of the hat. Can be ordered with tiebacks or without. Can also be ordered in white! The measures only 33 cm, so it does not fall over the ears as it shouldn’t.
This is another sailor themed hat, it is a bandana and ties in the back. This model bandana can be ordered in any fabric!! Could be a certain color to match other clothing or scenery, could be another fun theme, such as pirates! You tell me!
